The retards who make these charts literally tripled their sample size to hide the fact that vtubing has collapsed in watch hours.
Go look at the charts last year, their sample size was only 4000+, they increased it to 6000+ and now its finally 11000+.

The only think I can think of is someone high up has investments in one or both of Cover and Anycolor and announcing your entire industry is massively shrinking would drop their stocks like a fucking rock.

I personally moved more into indies. There's still some vtubers in Phase i watch like Panko and Remi but otherwise kinda done with most of them. I just can't get into Pippa either anymore after all her shitty takes and constant whining in every stream. Hell, she can't even play video games without constantly pausing the game every 2 minutes to talk about some dumb shit or talk about how shit the game she plays is and then continues to play it anyway. Worst part is that it usually goes so far that it can't even be refunded anymore. Her crashing out over Uma Musume porn was still one of the worsts one i have ever seen.
