You need to understand how to market and how to use social media to your advantage. That’s why it is better to have some work arounds such as having everyone in the same call at the start and end but otherwise break up into team chats so that it is easier for everyone that watches. What is your brand and niche? Why can’t you play into it. Your brand is YOU. You aren’t supposed to fit in someone else’s brand. You’re not understanding what branding is. Your brand is consistent themes, aesthetic, colors, etc that make up what you do. If you are a space themed vtuber for example, your branding would probably invole things like stars and planets, maybe you like to have a glow in the dark wall stickers vibe to what you do. Your logo would have space motifs in it and the font would be one that compliments your theme and the vibe you bring to your content. You make your own brand, you can’t not fit into a brand that is made up entirely of your own stuff.

Your issues could be too many things and we cannot sit here and guess what it might be. Your biggest issue from what I can tell though is your self defeatist attitude. Learn to fake it til you make it because if the way you’re talking right now is how you act in stream, it is not appealing to anyone. Learn to act, learn to be animated, learn to engage with an audience that isn’t there, be something more than what you already are if nothing is working. There will always be someone that could do something better than you in many ways but that doesn’t mean they can be you. I've been going down a rabbit hole due to the shorts algorithm, and this made me realize something

The real thing is that your shorts are going to have less views on average compared to normal videos at their size because actually sending shorts to your subscribers tanks your video reach. This is because subscribers don't need to watch a short of a video they're already going to watch so YouTube sees that as a low engagement based on subbed viewers and lowers its priority in the algorithm.

One of the unspoken rules is to have separate channels for clips, shorts, and similar content and another one for longer videos. If they are mixing everything into just one channel, and even worse if they are dumping shorts or things of that nature too alongside their hour long VODs they might be killing their exposure and relevancy due to how youtube pushes content out, and how it evaluates engagement.
Also some of those are really old names, if they have old videos that aren't getting views that can also impact their overall exposure.
