I expected to hear Japanese songs being sung at least for the hololive members considering their origins and all, imagine my surprise when I found out a non-consequential numbers of the girls are posers like her in the EN branch.

Even the ids aren’t like this.

She does sing a few Japanese songs, but she's still struggling to get her karaoke footing, so those songs really only happen when she's feeling good, like in this karaoke.

The western songs are Saba sings are objectively superior in every conceivable way to japanese idol slop. I enjoy the JP songs, they are fun for what they are but they are mostly bland, generic and forgettable, even compared to the bottom of the barrel top 40 white girl pop slop. Gura singing the girl from ipanema is still my favorite vtuber performance of all time, and it is half because she is am amazing singer and half because that song is a masterpiece.

Gura has sung most all of Miku's popular songs through 3D Lives, Birthday's, concerts, etc.
Gura, instead of releasing expensive covers, released and participated in expensive 3D Lives covering many more songs.
