Based on the little research that I conducted, the technology for the use of 3d models (the ones that vtubers have) with AI mocap is still, at best, 4 years away from the consumer.
Runway is the only one that has so far advanced promisingly in the field, and they are barely at act-two iteration of their model for tracking and capturing + interpreting. If the models keep on evolving maybe act-four will be competent for any kind of model, maybe even things like L2D, or basic 3d models like the ones that warudo can make.
But we are not there yet to have the real models ported onto AI tools to just do what the actual vtubing software does
