This is a tiny bit exaggerated. I've been with Chammers since 2018. I would never have called her "the face" of hololive. I would however put her in the top 5 for a specific, small period of time by some metrics. Keep in mind, the most popular holo (i.e. the face of hololive to use this wording) in the early years could change not just year by year, but even every few months. But before her major dropoff in numbers, I would have maybe put her in top 10 or 15. But I get what he's trying to say. She was a very popular talent for a time, and when EN viewers had very, very slim pickings after vtubing became about streaming until holoEN, she made a huge impression on us.

Oh, and for context, I'm not referring to her health hiatus or stuff around that time. I'm referring to her first major hiatus (you know, the one that killed our numbers on /vt/ and even killed off this general until she came back, a very different time indeed). One could write a piece about how omnipresent Haatons used to be on /vt/ before then and how active our general used to be.

I'm generally pro cover, but I will never forgive them for killing the coexist arc in the midst of her getting 50k viewers per stream and crossing 1mil subs, then immediately launching a horror themed promotion and not including her at all. Completely changed the course of her career.

Honestly I think its going to be difficult for her to come back, and I'm not just saying 'management bad', when she crashed out, she badmouthed her colleagues by implication too, the ones who were outwardly the closest to her at that. How do you come back with that in the air? Granted she was literally off her meds, but it would probably be very stressful to come back with that hanging over your head. and I'm just talking about personal headspace. Even if the other talents can accept it, can she?
