Hmm. That's an interesting question.
So, looking at the plot of "Your Name," it isn't just a simple "You are now CC, and CC is now you." In the movie, the protagonists become the other one intermittently (so, not continuously) I feel like that is a key factor in this question, as you wouldn't need to specify it otherwise. I'm going to also assume that we switch places whenever we go to sleep. This sounds like it's obvious, but I have to specify that because HOW DOES THAT WORK WITH TIMEZONES? The film never has to deal with that because it takes place exclusively in Japan.
I'm going to assume that none of the other parts of the movie apply, which I'm not going to spoil for anyone who wants to watch the second highest-grossing Japanese film, as they just complicate factors by a lot.
As for what I would do, I would definitely start off with the ground rules of what to do. I do not want to end up in prison, and I feel like CC doesn't want to end up broke due to wire fraud. After that? Hard to say. The ideal case would be "I (CC) get swept away by CC (Yeah, Me) and we live happy lives together," but I can't guarantee that will work out. So, if that doesn't happen, I guess I would have to try my hardest to be CC, because I do not want to try and figure out what the ramifications of self-identity theft are. Nor do I want to ruin the opportunities she has been given. And I will just have to hope that CC doesn't mess anything up.
