as far as extended FF7 goes CC is fine because the ending is cool even if the story is kinda dumb, but AC is just too much, dont get me started on DoC or the remakes, Nomura shouldnt be allowed to write anything

Also... I just noticed it now but the way Aeris talk (in JP though) both full voice in remake and word choice in 7OG kinda reminded me of Azuchan. No wonder Pekochan went Aeris route in FF7.

The romance in VIII is tolerable to me, though I'd prefer if they kept to their (alpha? beta? pre-development?) plans of having Selphie as the main heroine instead. Rinoa, at times, can be pretty annoying. At her best, to me, she's just a lesser version of the same 'genki-girl' archetype as Selphie. Still one of my favorites of the series though.

SFC is surprisingly tough for a console (FC too). I gave it away to my cousin wayyyy back when I finally got my OG PS (no new title for SFC anymore anyway) almost 30 years ago.
