Ive lived next to monsey, and kiris Joel ny for years. You can look them up, they are basically isreali settlements in NY like the Amish
They are the most aggressive, xenophobic and curropt groups of people in America, possibly earth, but I haven't met everyone yet.
They do block busting where they buy property, let it deteriorate, then threaten other home owners if they dont sell before prices fall further.
Its a big problem in pearl river ny where they are actively encroaching on the town. They tore down an old 1806 colonial home and replaced it with nothing for example. Not sure how as it was a protected landmark.
On top of that they are extremely hostile, their businesses discriminate against others, they arent inclusive offering very few services in anything but Hebrew, possibly the rudest people ive ever met and they have no desire the do anything but levy against their neighbors.
Worst part is they arent very smart. They are easily controlled by numbers and are motivated by ego. Easy strings to pull.
