brampton is an absolute hellhole.
they lie about their income when they get here so they can get big mortgages that they'll never actually be able to pay off, and then they rent out the house at a ludicrously jacked price plus they ask for all your details probably to send to their scammer hives back home. they stuff as many people plus themselves into the house. so they're actively dragging the quality of housing down and making it a living hell to be here because numbnuts white realtors see that and think WELL I GOTTA COMPETE. so now there's basically no apartment listing even close to worth living in that is sub 1200 loonies. and most of those are hell hives as well.
to get an apartment where you're not stuffed up with a third worlder you basically have to earn 70k minimum and sacrifice half your savings. whereas 9ish years ago you could easily afford a single bedroom studio on minimum wage in the middle of town.
