>>5887823You are have right to demand that we deal with each race the same across the board but the problem is not in pure logics and deduction and topology, the problem with that approach is history.
The black people who were brought to America as slaves had their history and ancestry erased because the slavers did not care to take not of that. Black people in America had no more specific identity than just the color of their skin, so the most accurate descriptor for them was just simply 'Black'.
That's not true for whites, they were always very aware where they came from, and in Europe they never possessed a strong group identity that race provides.
Whereas for Black people, to become the Black race was instantaneous and inevitable, the forming of the "white" group was only gradual, at the pace the various white groups developed and adopted the idea, mostly based on the example of blackness, and not as an epistemological matter of fact but rather due to politics and opportunity.
I appreciate that you want to make the discussion free of double standards but as it stands, Black people and white people are not equivalent concepts as far as what brought them to existance and what influenced them. And being ignorant or denying these factors only lets them to perpetuate and allow for further injustices to keep happening.
