That is NOT how you do it. All you need is cucumber, soft white sliced bread, soft brown sliced bread, butter, s&p.
Thinly slice the cucumber and generously season, let it sit for a while, maybe 10 mins so that any water thats gonna come out from the salt comes out and dosent make the sandwiches soggy, generously butter the bread (one slice white one brown) and place the cucumbers onto one slice. Add lid, remove crusts and cut into 4 peices diagnonally.
Done correctly this is one of the best sandwiches for canapΓ©s with tea/champagne. No function is complete without this classic
