incredibly succinct explanation with nuance, this guy knows whats up. after ww1 and the treaty of versailles, german territory shrank, and so thousands of german minorities now existed in poland. hitler tried everything diplomatic to bring the german refugees back home, before ultimately having to declare war. once it was declared, poles slaughtered thousands, estimated as much as 50,000 (maybe over exagerrated, at least 24,000 were identified) germans in poland immediately. in what is now known as "bloody sunday". in both ww1 and ww2 the brits fucked up and caused major problems, including the balfour agreement which promised to give palestine to zionist jews, and we all know how thats playing out today 100 years later...
