When I used to go to festivals as a teenager I knew 80% of the bands playing.
Now I check the line-ups of the largest ones and barely know anyone.
I used to wonder how old bands with 50yo dudes still drew people to their concerts, now I understand.
I used to laugh at my dad for listening to the radio stations running "old music". I'm listening to the exact same stations now.
Hell, simply the fact that I'm listening to FM and AM stations already makes me an ancient fossil to young people.
But that's alright, I'm not afraid of getting old. You just feel sad sometimes when you realize you can't keep up anymore.
