It's kinda cut off here but the spring loaded pen thing he uses at the end is the best part. Even in the full video he only uses it for a grand total of 10 seconds so I end up sitting through the scraping just to hear it.
I don't get what it does though, when he uses it the crack actually gets bigger.
If I had to guess it's like applying some controlled stress to open up any invisible fractures so that the resin fills in as much damage as possible otherwise it'll look repaired at first but a jolt from a pothole would open up those unfilled fractures and basically cause a second crack. Idk.
Please enlighten me, any anons who's autistic fixation is windshield repair.
I looked for an explanation in the youtube comments but they're about as informative as you'd expect.
