I recall The Church tolerating faggots having romantic/friendly relationships but not sexual.
There is not much record of lesbian couples in history of church, when something happens they are either recommended to be nuns or to marry with a man, movements led by dykes often got persecuted harshly too.
Except for Joan D'Arc I think, but she was not a dyke but a crossdresser, and largely asexual.
