yeah growing up reading stuff like enid blyton, beatrix potter, asterix etc, being introduced to monty python at an early age and stuff, you had a glimpse into different generations. even old tom and jerry/bugs bunny/whatever cartoons.
spose it was a slower time back then, media was certainly more curated (we only had 3 tv channels in UK) so blah blah blah you get it
