I don't know, looks like garbage from what people say on Steam. But still more than 1000 people are playing it now, which is good for a shit game.

it's hard to compete with a cult classic like vtmb has become
i haven't really looked into vtmb2 outside of knowing it now exists

If you're REALLY into oWoD as a setting and just NEED more V:tM content and are fine with the game being NOTHING like the original V:tMB and a linear action experience, it's... Eh.

oh and no, i have no other existing interest in the source world of darkness series, just vtmb the video game. not sure how common that is amongst vtmb fans. so if it's nothing like the original then i don't have any reason to try it really

How do I make my own music webm with the cover art? What software do you guys use?
Anonymous No.6021526 [Report]
>>6021507
To make
>>6020825
I did;
ffmpeg -stream_loop -1 -r 1 -i /tmp/pi
c.png -i \[20191024\]\ Santa\ Monica\ Theme\ \(VuXD3jTDqqU\).w
ebm -pix_fmt yuv420p -shortest -g 99999 -keyint_min 99999 -c:v
libvpx-vp9 -c:a libopus -b:a 128k -y out.webm
where pic.png is the cover, you can use a gif or other looping clip instead if you like
Anonymous No.6021649 [Report]
>>6021507
>software
check the pinned thread
>what i use
ffmpeg like the other guy.
ffmpeg -r 1 -loop 1 -y -i "$INPUT_IMAGE_FILE" -i "$INPUT_AUDIO_FILE" -vf "scale=$OUTPUT_RESOLUTION:flags=lanczos" -c:a libopus -b:a 128k -c:v libvpx-vp9 -shortest -to "$AUDIO_DURATION" "${INPUT_AUDIO_FILENAME%.*}.webm"

i just set the variables up using a bash shell script so i don't have to type the entire thing every single time. the filesize is capped to 6MB using some script arithmetic but i'm on linux so it's probably of no use to everyone else

I use kdenlive. Project settings 360x360 / 1 frame per second. Drag the music. Render to VP9 / opus.

All I can say is it was super well known in LAN parties back in the days, and since they made tons of sequel it seems to be pretty well known to this day bro.
Anonymous No.6021887 [Report]
>>6021879
yea, i can't disagree, i'm sure anyone into the kind of fps serious sam is is aware of serious sam, but it's not a household name like doom
it was well known around when it came out, but it's rarely mentioned nowadays, which is a shame. everyone bring up doom and quake, but why not serious sam? because it's not id?

God the GBA soundchip was such dogshit. You could hear the static the whole time. Fucking criminal that that thing was actually in stores, especially before the SP version.

the GBA basically just has a GBC sound chip with a couple extra 8-bit PCM outputs, the shit sound is because most games use software-mixed, 8-bit, ~14kHz or so music
Anonymous No.6022478 [Report]
>>6022109
can't lie, it's one of the issues with gba and as someone who enjoyed the game's music back then it really is grating most of the time. some games like golden sun and even mother 3 made it work somehow, but fucking hell the other games' composers cooked as well, gba just failed them
