Retard here with a couple questions on how not to get caught by my ISP, who's already sent me 5+ copyright warning letters b/c i fucked up from failing to bind my torrent program with my vpn. Heard several stories of customers getting blacklisted by all providers, and i'd rather not take anymore chances rn considering i'm sharing a household with frens.
So know i want to ddl some games and have some questions. Just want to make sure there's no drm or online service inherent in the games i play that could tip me to a copyright holder that something fishy is going on.

1. Unless there's someone sniffing for me specifically, copyright holders generally don't care for stuff downloaded under encryption, right? I know direct downloads under https aren't p2p are safe, so vpns are a bit overkill.

2. Are game launchers drm mechanisms that can notify copyright holders that you're playing an unauthorized game? I don't have the complaint letter with me, nor do i remember how i launched it, but my last complaint was with a pirated gog version of Cyberpunk 2077. Is gog galaxy a spotter for pirated stuff? Other games I want to pirate are paradox titles Stellaris and CK2, which iirc come with the paradox launcher in gog.. is that correct?

3. The rest of the complaints was with a cracked version of Tekken 8, which i presume was from a badly configured kill switch for seeding since Tekken 8 doesn't have denuvo. Any recommended vpns/torrent clients and guides to bind them? Want to make sure I do it right once i get out of town.

4. I used dlc unlockers from a certain site to access all the dlc in Anno 1800 (on the ubi store) and Crusader Kings 2 on steam. I've removed it from the latter as i have a decent library and don't want to endanger my profile there. Has there ever been any crackdowns on users with these unlockers?
