I only really use secret mode on samsung internet browser ( and never go to any sketchy sites) I still clear my normal browser after bc I'm a little paranoid. I noticed though that when I reload the main page it says I have 2 google webpages in my history even though I only have 1 open for some reason. I don't think it ever did this before and would say 1. Is this because of the stupid "try our gemini ai popup?" I don't think I have a virus because I never really use the browser much yet alone go to sketchy sites. Is this just happening to me?

I don't have a definitive answer, however I've experienced odd bugs and things of that nature myself. It seems there's a lot of what I could only call "data crossfire" with both AIs talking as well as viruses here and there, which AI systems have gotten waaaaaay better at countering :3

Thanks anon so you think I'm safe? All it is really doing is saying I have 2 www.google.com webpages in my history even though I've only visited one. If it matters the logo on the left one is grey and one is blue. I think it might be a bug like you said because I'm very careful what I browse on my phone

Also I deleted the app cache and data and it still happens. I think it might be the google "try our gemini popup" getting confused for another webpage since anytime I reload google it pops up
