lmao you go into your distros repository and see what nativ games there are. If you want to install windows games on Linux something lke bottles or heroic launcher (theres like 50 launchers, many ways to do this but it ultimately goes down to a emulated windows environment and the game intalls in there) to install basic games. If you can't do that reliably, unfortunately you might have to install on windows then boot into linux, mount the windows drive then play from there through Proton

I use igg-games.com for small file size/indie cause it gets uploaded so fast. fitgirl is for AAA-AA and popular games with big file sizes.
