Drugs for public speaking
I know of beta blockers or propranolol, but can I get my hands on them in Australia without a prescription.

Also, know of anything else that might get the job done? No alcohol.

There's no OTC medication that can relax you that way apart from prescriptions, except for nicotine unironically, it will be pretty good at relaxing you and keeping you active. Beta blockers and generally heart medication won't do anything for anxiety.
If you can get a prescription or through other means, what you need is Diazepam or an amphetamine like Methylphenidate.
Diazepam I would recommend if you are very nervous and your brain is too active, it will relax you. But if you're already midly relaxed, it may fuck you up. It will make you stop caring.
Methylphenidate is a CNS stimulant, it helps if you're midly relaxed and just need a boost or way for words to come out. It also relaxes you.
