I am a windows brainlet
Hi wsr,
I hope someone can help me. I am a complete brainlet and I cannot get any of my webm files to show a thumbnail image. I have tried BAT files from windows help forums, Icaros, K-lite codec pack, nothing seems to make a difference, I cannot get any webms to display the thumbnails. This would make my organizing of my files so much easier. plox help

Google K-lite codec pack and download the mega version then install it with the wizard. Hopefully you don't fuck it up.

I have no fucking clue what your bat file did. Locate the thumbnail cache yourself and delete it manually. I think I did it without the explorer manipulations but just in case try following this guide.
https://windowsloop.com/clear-thumbnail-cache-windows/
Maybe also reinstall the K-lite codec pack or Icaros before opening folders with webms.
