I am so sick of this. This, along with a few other thread types are a part of changing what these sites are like by piling on and blocking out any and all topics of interest. You can see it on any of the highly popular or sensitive topic boards.
All a concerted effort done by a number of different organizations interested in making 4chan die. Inb4 hurdhurr it is already dead, no fag, not yet. It is duing because of what I mentioned just now and because of the effect it has on users, they fucking go away on their own. This is the only way you can kill a site like this and now we are seeing it in action blatantly and brazenly.
I hate this timeline and all you complicit faggots as well. I hope your parasite riddled brains will fire off a neuron at some point to make you understand whar you have done. Not so that you'd fight or change it, nah, you're too chicken shit for that. No, I just want you to hurt deep inside.

I don't think the thread can die, but the general could run dry if no new material shows up, sure. What "material" is isn't clear, other than direct Roy lost media. In that sense new things came Up lately about Roy. See I saved this for example.
>>40506058You have been exceedingly spooked into being unrelaxed. Somebody needs a dunk
>>40506085Sorry to burst your bubble bud, but that pic is nothing new. It's the same newspaper clipping I showed you guys a month ago, I just took another picture with my hat in it, because it's a cool hat. I do have another vinyl coming though.
>>40506101I wasn't active on the thread two months ago though. That's part of the problem: there's a lack of documentation. You must have being the Perfect Paranoiac out of a Pynchon novel to archive and screenshot or record or stream every single bit of information, but this is reality and I certainly haven't. I was reading the first thread and it is weird in a lot of ways though.
But being more practical: there is still a lot of shit to recover from Roy Jay, shit that is documented like Knees Up, in case he is real.
>>40506184Still waiting on another Radio Times September 1984 edition to pop up, that's the best thing we could find right now outside of the lost TV appearances.
Why does searching for Roy Jay keep bringing different things that are titled Roy Jay even when that doesn't make sense?
https://youtu.be/58Kk8q6cUII?si=gYL16sqNdxtR4m_N
>>40506267>a video with Roy Jay in the title shouldn't appear when searching the term Roy JayAre you retarded?
Wooow, weeird, unrelaaaxed, met this weird chick, she was so weird she sucked my penis and my ass at the same time.
It's still very easy to find new Roy stuff, you can login in to the British Newspaper service and watch a few newspapers, before they ask you to play, the first ones I clicked didn't have what I was looking for, but some new info.
1. Roy Jay might have been performing as a singer in the UK in the early 2000's, see image. and several newspapers mention a singer around this time.
2. He might have gotten into a car-crash at the same time.
3. Some articles I can't view, because I have to pay now, will post the shorts to them.
>>40506361Article, which might mention him being active in the early 2000's, one line reads that he prefers spain to the scene in the UK.
>>40506375Roy Jay, stilled worked at the Talk of the Coast, in the early 2000's, according to the blurb to this newspaper article.
>>40506381The age of this Roy Jay is off by just 2 years, could be him, was he living in the UK for a short while?
>>40506404Now this is most likely not our Roy Jay, because well Roy Jay is his artists name and the same man was in a legal battle with the local government for zoning regulations or something.
>>40506408More, Roy Jay's 60's band might have been
The Renegades.

>>40506284No, what I mean is the resulta itself keep changing.
Look, youtube showed me this when searching "roy jay" on YouTube, searching just videos. Why? It's got no roy, no jay, no nothing. It isn't about something I'm interested in. Why does It show then?
>>40506361>>40506375>>40506381>>40506404>>40506408>>40506423To sum up all the new info:
1. There is from the end of 1998 to the beginning of 2000, a singer active in the UK who did Karaoke, following this time frame there is an article about Roy Jay working at Talk of the Coast in Spain. Did he move back to the UK for a short while?
2. An article on sixties rockband the Renegades mentions a Roy Jay, this might be our Roy Jay, or the drummer that keeps popping up in newspapers.
3. The man who drove without a license and had a legal battle with the local Whitby, couldn't be our Roy, the age doesn't fit and Roy Jay is his performing name.
>>40506423Yet I search for a 60s band called like that and only this one shows up:

This is actually fascinating, there are two Roy Jay, both with interesting life stories.
1. Your Roy, comedian who did well in theatre in the 70's, got on the BBC, lost his career in 1986 after showing dick and then spend the rest of his life drinking and performing in Benidorm.
2. My Roy, native of Whitby, the last in a long line of Jet Artisans, played as a drummer in a band called the Renegades, apparently kept playing until he was 50 and spend the early 00's in a long conflict with his local government about what I assume are zoning rights??

>>40507152An obscure mod band from the 60's, doesn't have their earlier member mentioned on the wiki page, yeah is fairly common.
I can't actually google roy jay renegades, because now google only shows me old roy jay, dick man.
>>40507155Oh now you're bugging me. Are you affirming that there's another band of the same name of the same epoch of the same style that has a Roy Jay in it who also was the last jet jeweller by job at the same time? And they're famous but they have no wikipedia?
>>40507181Yes, both Roy Jays played in mod bands at the same time, first one is Roy the comedian, the second one is Roy the Jet artisan from Whitby.
>>40507160>It just happens to not contain the only member we, in a Roy Jay comedian thread, would deem meaningful by having the same name as Roy Jay. Don't worry about it though, it happens all the time.
>>40507194give the wiki editor some time and he will add him.
>>40507192Man it just... reads like an AI hallucinstion. Like it is trying to be confusing. And there's nothing on wikipedia or YouTube about any of this? The video of the jet jeweller doesn't mention Roy being in a band, not even in the description. It doesn't hace to. The wikipedia of the Renegades doesn't list Roy Jay as a member. Does it have to?
>>40507192And the band that has a wikipedia article that I already linked to: is it the one that has Roy Jay the comedian in it? Or Roy Jay the jet jeweller?

>>40506101And how I know you didn't just print the newspaper clippings though? I'd need an actual issue to see if that is there. The paper quality seems rather fresh to me actually.
>>40507281Aside from buying it from a UK seller with 75k sales and the paper not looking even remotely like something that could be printed out at home, well...
>>40507211Fascinating isn't it, it's almost like there is so much information floating around, that not everything finds it's way to wikipedia, just like the other roy. But really, the Whitby Roy is even more obscure then the Dick Roy, you need some old boomer, from the region going, yeah this article needs EVERY band member, not just the later ones before the article gets updated.
>>40507300rightio i remeber this bloke, aint it, he had this slutty sister, with them skank eyes, i have her a dicking, so did ever lad in the district, aint it and the bloke playin in that band, being the first drummer and all that, sad had to do the jetting.

Is it this band that has Jet Roy Jay in it?
>>40507327Meant to post this also https://youtu.be/C1RtV20zLK8?si=8kFiwy9GuhBv2gYp
>>40507327Yes, both Roy Dick and Roy Jet played in a mod band at roughly the same time.
>>40507337Yes but It this band
>>40507333 the one that has the Roy Dick or the Roy Jet?
>>40507001I'd tell him, but he's weird.
>>40507346Neither, I did some more sleuthing and apparently there where two Renegades, one from Birmingham that became popular abroad and a local band from Whitby, that doesn't have a wiki page.
So, that band with the wiki page is a completely different band.
>>40507295Hmm. Could you not buy paper that has the quality of newspaper paper and print something in it? I don't know if you did it but It doesn't sound that farfetched.

>>40507014>>40507050There’s also a 2nd Roy Jay Band and new Roy Jay Band live videos popping up from years ago.
I’ve also noticed that other videos search results seem warped in the past few days. For example say I search for Star Wars Legos, the next search I do will also be related to Star Wars or legos no matter what, if I then type something unrelated like Alice in Wonderland it will show videos that are alive in wonderland LEGO’s or if I type Skinwalker it will show some video that’s like Star Wars Skinwalkers or some bullshit. The ads also go crazy, AI images of like a single word I heard 20 minutes ago, and like 12 of them in a line, like Blue, Pumpkin, Window Tint, Palm Tree, Custom Aluminum parts, books with a title with a word in it, it’s weird man, especially cuz the Roy Jay videos were the first ones that started this kinda search meshing when I first noticed it, and I’m an in constant use of YouTube at all hours of the day, so I tucking notice it and make lots of searches, unrelaxed.

Compare it with the first instance in search results of that clip on YouTube, on the dunebasher channel.

Or — hear me out — the videos on YouTube were initially of that quality, but they've been inadvertently upgraded.
Nah I don't think. The greyyman was trying to add to the confusion, maybe hoping it would go viral. That's much more likely.

This part from the wiki. Can any norwegian tell me if this makes sense with military service at that time (1953) or was it out of his free will?
Also the Square Crisps ad isn't propperly sourced on the wiki either. It's probably just a misunderstanding, I don't think it really exists. Knees Up episode could be somewhere though...
New roysidue has arrived. I'll upload a few photos of the basics, but there's also something special I wasn't expecting.
>>40512683It would have been 1963 for the Navy thing, I mistyped.
>>40512697Disc is unlabeled, but there's small engravings on the inner ring that say "Roy Jay - A1/B1" on either side, very difficult to take a good photo of.
>>40512700I looked inside the sleeve and saw an additional piece of paper, pulled it out. It's a free ticket for an event Roy was performing at. I've never seen such a ticket before, and there's some information here I've never heard of, e.g. this Barley person or the fact Roy was performing at this "Blazer's" place. This was better than the vinyl IMO.
>>40507519>>40512688Compare these two signatures. I'm thinking more and more that this letter is false. Who has two signatures? These were from the same time period alsi, 1982-1983. He didn't go from that cool and rounded signature to this other one that's all pointy and ugly in a year, right? And the handwriting too!
But anyways congratulations on the find.
>>40512732It could be false, it's also possible it was written by a secretary or something. His handwriting on signed albums all looks very consistent, at least.
>>40512715Wow that looks so neat. It's so lynchian. It looks like an invitation to the dance in Eyes Wide Shut, or the business card of the president in American Psycho. Bravo! Let's see and find this information.

This is the only photograph of him. Is it even him? I don't like this guy. Does he have something to do with E. R.?
Bros, I may have done it. I contacted Radio Times themselves and a very nice fellow agreed to send me PDF scans of the sep 1984 issue. But who is this Murphy? Try to find any biographical information.
>and Chic
It's like he wants to hide. But he's there.
>>40517899And doing what? Every other credit has some function, Chic is just there. Doing what?
Okay, I'm gonna post some stuff, but you guys have to give me some time because there's a shit ton of information here and I don't even know exactly what to make of it myself. Pay close attention to the finer details...
First I'll mention, the entire reason I thought that this issue had an interview with Roy in it to begin with is because several articles online mention him and the other Laughter Show guys having an interview in this september 1984 issue of RT. In fact, on the Facebook group, someone even made an edit of the cover with Roy's face transposed on the traffic officer. It seemed like a legit lead.
So I emailed Radio Times. The guy offers to send me PDFs of the pages. I did a quick look through, and I didn't see anything about Roy. So, I asked if the fellow happened to see the interview himself, but he didn't. He did some sleuthing for me though, then mentioned that the first appearance of the Laughter Show was actually this March 3rd issue, and that the Laughter Show was postponed until April 7th 1984 for reasons unknown. This article is a simple ad for The Laughter Show, but it mentions Roy and the other two -- no interview.
1/2
>>405180222/2
He then found an interview with Les and Dustin from 1985... but there's no mention of Roy in it. He also found another interview with Les specifically, right after Dustin died. No Roy.
I asked him if he had any further info on Roy Jay, but he stopped responding. Hopefully he gets back to me, but who knows.
Anyway, here's where what's spooky: remember that picture of Roy wearing his skeleton suit with Les/Dustin that the one anon found on ghettyimages? Look at the fucking picture in the March 3rd article. It's an almost identical photo, except Roy's facial expression is completely different and Les isn't smiling with his mouth open. The background, Dustin's facial expression, even tiny creases in clothing, etc., is all the same. What the fuck? Even if somebody took blast shots of the guys, you'd think at least a few details would be off when two of them are making totally different faces, and one isn't...
So now, the issue that Roy was supposed to have an interview in, he does not. In fact, there's no interview with him at all. The one interview with the other guys doesn't even mention him, and the one article that does mention Roy is from 6 months prior to the issue he supposedly WAS in -- and it has a photo with bizarre anomalies from an almost identical press shot we found online.
I'm going to upload higher res photos, I had to compress them to get them into this picture. I'll also upload all of the PDFs if you guys want me to, but it's just a bunch of unrelated shit. Sorry for the shit formatting in this pic, but it's the best I could do to get it all in.
I'm feeling a little unrelaxed, boys.

Multiple articles online said he was in an interview, somebody on his facebook page went through the effort of shooping him into a magazine he was supposed to be featured in (but wasn't), and not only that, there's no interview with him at all, and the only picture of him in Radio Times is fucking weird.

I just noticed too, that ghettyimages pic is literally credited to Radio Times... but the one appearance of the photo in the actual Radio Times isn't the same.
This whole thing seems to reinforce that Roy's online data is being overtly changed and manipulated by AI. First it was conflicting info about his death dates and such, then these youtube bots all remembering him, now two contradictory but nearly identical photos. I'm at a loss.

You could no doubt write a 150 page autobiography about all the stuff that is out there, even without doing field work, but that just takes months of your life, you know, people would take short trips to madrid or his home town to look into the archives, that is a full job, people here just kinda google and nothing more really, got so much hate from (most likely one schizophrenic) when i suggested people do some serious research, but they mostly didn't.
>>40518775I find your attitude about this whole thing unrelaxed. You've gone from "look at what I found on google", to "I'm smarter than you for finding it", then "here's more stuff I could find, but I won't, because I don't care enough to pay or spend my time on it" (even though you're still here, weeks later), now you're straight up saying "let it go" even though you, again, are still here. What's your angle? It just seems like your only motivation is to get recognition on an anonymous forum for ultimately meaningless work that you should be enjoying for the fun rather than the praise.
Yeah, I'm fucking tired from weeks of researching a dead boomer and dropping money on his memorabilia, but I still find it fascinating, and taking a break doesn't imply the need to "let it go". I also don't feel the need to aggrandize myself for being pathetic enough to spend my time and money this way. I don't think I'm smarter than anybody else for being enough of a tard to email dozens of people or poopsocking ebay for old vinyls. It's just fun and interesting. Either post in good faith and realize that you may get 0 recognition for it, or let it go yourself.
>>40518818>"I'm smarter than you for finding it",This attitude is why I don't bother, I could seriously help you do actual research, might become your job one day, but... that requires respect and not looking down on yourself.
No, I am not attacking you, I wasn't in the previous post, it's called being sincere. I sincerely like to see you do research on your own and I sincerely don't want you to ruin your health on a meme comedian.
Take that as you want.
>>40518863Very weird behavior man. Whether I'm smarter than you or you're smarter than me, who the fuck cares? It's supposed to be a fun, spooky thing we all participate in, and you're trying to make it a dick measuring contest. I don't feel the need to tell everyone how smart I am because my contributions stand on their own merits. Smart people don't need to tell you they're smart, if I'm being honest. Like I said, contribute in good faith for the fun of it, or don't.
>>40518775>>40518863this dude is assmad that anon did all the work and he didnt do jack shit lawl. do not roydeem saaaar
Fuck I was going to register... I need an Outlook subscription to read my email now? What? Man I'm old...
To the anon who paid 150$, maybe stop. Seeing a lot of new Roysidue is enticing, but it's not going to change my position with respect to him being AI. So uncover pieces of Roy content only if you really want.
Personally, I'm not paying a cent. But that's just because I'm a miser.
This isn't a church. I don't even know if you are real. Have a good evening or whatever though. I mean it.
>>40518962I'm not that last guy though. Get some rest.
>>40518967do not roooyydeeeeem my nigga
>new Roy lore drops
>poo in loo returns to shart and fart
Every time
That photo is truly identical except where it isn't... It really is strange.
Is there a possibility that that is somehow a legit photo? Weird hypothesis welvome.
>>40519045is it just me or does it serm like roys face just doesnt belong in that photo, especially the newspaper one. it just looks way newer snd higher fidelity than the other two
>>40519059Hmmm... Maybe it looks brighter because of the white skeleton make up? He does look weird. Spook!
>305 posts
>thread isn't autosaging
Uhhhh
>>40519119What does that mean in layman's terms? Is that the bump limit?
>>40519130Yeah, threads are supposed to autosage (stop bumping) at 300 posts. The only way they don't is if a mod enables a higher bump limit. Maybe a roybro mod wanted us to see the new roysidue.
>>40519134Oh really? That's kind of weird.
I'm trying to not suspect something out of it. Captcha TVHDW
>>40519157You kind of have to since there's literally no other reason the thread shouldn't be saging right now. Wow. Weird. Unrelaxed!
>now it starts saging
Ooooh, spook spook gettin' to you.
(You can tell if the thread is saging when the post count number is in italics, by the way)
>>40519167Now... That is weird and unrelaxed, isn't it? He said slither i slithered.
>>40519177A bit. Let's all post our buttholes and maybe they'll disable autosage again.
>>40519183That's a luxury we can't afford right now.
No but seriously: you noticed, and then it "saged" right? That is mighty strange.
>>40519191If I had to venture a guess, I'd say an interested mod wanted the thread to get further exposure, but he didn't want anyone to nooootice he was doing it. I feel there is a sinister undertone to the goings-on of this website at times...
>>40519201>sinister undertoneOh definitely. And I thing your guess is an educated one. Spook!
>>40519225Roy's belly button is god tier.
>>40519225Foot on the right with the red stripe on the sock is from the kid in the back wearing purple. Took me a while to see it to be honest since this image was also tripping me up. The one wearing lime green is just standing kinda gay and his left short leg is just looks too wide.
>>40518320The makeup is similar to that worn by actors for mechanical televisions in the 1920s and 30s
>>40519252>his left short leg is just looks too wide.I think it looks maybe a bit too wide for the legs it is supposed to be clothing. But I posted it just because I like it, I'm not taking a position on it (right now).
Wooow weeeird, met this weeird chick, she was so weird she said "can I suck your dick while you fuck me?", I said, how you gonna suck my dick if I'm fucking you? Then she started slobbing me knob and put me belly button in her ass

Spook!
>>40519368Woooow, weird.... Unrelaaaaxed!
Great day for Jay. Wack day for Black.
Now that the thread doesn't bump, I'm going to indulge in this weird color theory. This are screenshots from the right videos we have, in reverse chronological order.
We begin with Black ( or White)
>>40519611Then, Indigo ( this is the weakest link, but look at the limits of the lightspots)
>>40519617And finally, Violet.
Not counting the first one, they form the acronym ROYGBIV, which I know from a Boards of Canada song. Is it something? I doubt it, but I wanted to post it anyways, maybe someone will find it interesting. The colors symbolize life and the flow of life, while black or white symbolizes death and or resurrection. Think about it. Or don't.

>>40520624I wonder if the SPOOK! (And maybe SLITHER!) gimmick originally came from his Halloween skellybones after and it just evolved into pajama/prisioner Roy Jay’s act?
THROW ANOTHER POO ON THE LOO,
AND WHILE YOU'RE AT IT GO AHEAD AND PEE
>>40518030>but there's no mention of Roy in itThis isn't even the only time this happened. Wikipedia claims his death was mentioned in some book and when you go to the book and read the exact page he isn't mentioned once. Something is fishy.
