Short of it is alot.
Long of it is, the homestuck comic was an encapsulation of the "vibe" where the internet was going. Juggalos already got the short end of a long dick, but the memory of it in the comic wasn't nothing too bad more than it were a rightful fuckin approximation of it in a parody format as a subcultural phenomenon.
I liked the comic when the shit started coming out, but the man lost the sauce. He knows that, why he made "psycholonials", admitting that he got that otherworldly influence but saying to people "well you're retarded for thinking I'd keep going with it. See, cus, im a good guy because i REFUSE the call."
Nothing short of utter depravity and shameless foolishness, because had he accepted the call, he could have done much good with his work. Instead, now, the comic acts like a sickly sore which continues to ooze pustules of hate and delusion. Nothing short of which may be seen by the fact they recently made one of the main characters a canonical pedophile.
But such is the path of suffering chosen.
Now going on, everybody modernly has been influenced by the core era of the fuckin comic, there's no way around it. Sometimes its overt (former & current fans) and sometimes implicit (alive during the era of comic & after) That noise was everywhere. It was good when it was set aright with itself, but the moment a bunch of raucous homos got in the mix it was joever. Because people weren't interested in what made it good, interesting or real but instead using it as a medium to craft an identity around it.
Funnily this is a canary in the coal mine, what happened to the comic is now happening in larger rhymes in the rest of the world.
We could talk more about the esoteric implications of what all the comic contains, but it doesn't matter. It's over before it began.
Returning back to my own tale, I was already down with the clown to begin with. But the comic came about and changed up my shit in interesting ways.
