I do feel kinda sad/bad when I hear about the terrible experiences people have had with transitioning, like botched surgeries, etc, and I don't really feel comfortable with the idea of big pharma making thousands/millions of dollars of people for the rest of their lives through prescriptions in general.
regarding kids: I think in the future people will look back at our current era and consider putting kids on hormone blockers or through surgeries as a kind of child abuse. This whole era will probably look pretty barbaric in retrospect. We do a bunch of crazy shit to treat mental health that I think we will find out was probably harmful in the long run.
