I am left handed.
Exclusively in writing and many other tasks. There will only be a few out there especially on here but if you are left handed come share. Me and a cousin are both left handed the only ones we know of in our families and we both had bouts of severe migraines starting around age 9 that seemed to only come during summer and got less and fewer as we grew up.The migraines that would come every year during the summer started to go away as we went through our late teen years. We are both different ages btw, I'm 5 years younger. I wasnt told about this though until after I had a bout of it at a family function and my aunt told me that he (my cousin) also had migraines and that he had stopped having them regularly. And it wasnt until over a decade later that I even found out that he was also left handed. We werent close cousins obviously. But it always stuck with me. And another weird coincidence is there were two brothers at my school who also would have migraines and they both were also left handed.

It has something to do with left brain /right brain and how the body and brain adapts to survival modes and healing modes
Read into german new medicine to understand these ideas further

Left-handed is male brain hemisphere dominance. Weird how 90% of people are right-handed. Like there is a conspiracy to make it that way. Why not 50/50?

Have you noticed any difference? How severe was your brain injury? Sorry about that by the way.

I switched from being right-handed my whole life to left-handed at college age. It changed my personality. In some ways, I miss being right handed because it’s a more rigid way of thinking that fits in better with society. Being left-handed I feel like you naturally stick out and notice everything that’s wrong with culture and the environment around you.

It's okay
WRT writing my left hand writers retardedly but that's to be expected
I had an intracerebral hemorrhage style of stroke
as for differences I tasted cilantro and it tasted amazing whereas it tasted like dawn dish soap
I had to learn to move my paralyzed body and had aphasia with simple words - couldn't type by muscle memory anymore - had generally softer personality and moods

hate to break it to you, but you, your cousin, and those two kids at school are actually half-brothers. Your moms all slept with the same left-handed, migraine-suffering man.

Left handed, I'm around 37yrs old. No migraines in my youth aside from some very rare ones, same now. Only adversity I ever faced was getting pencil lead all over the side of my damn hand while writing and difficulty using scissors.

I didnt choose to, I couldnt be forced to switch to right handed, one of my other classmates was though.

35 here and yeah I got used to having to write with my hand slightly raised but the pinky. Scissors I could deal with mostly because I stopped using them after grade school lol

I dont think being either is necessarily critically different from being able to function but I think left handed people historically maybe had a push to think differently because they were different from most people. Granted leonardo davinci grew up in an era not many could write so its hard to even tell if he knew being left handed even meant anything back then. Albert Einstein definitely knew.

I stopped getting the really bad ones often around early high school, they tapered off to about 1-2 times a year and now only rarely but I still get bad headaches that feel like migraines but no where near as crippling, no throwing up or adversity to food/light.

the girl that was forced into writing right handed in my grade school could do somthing that. she was able to write in either hand and read upside down almost as fast as if the book was right side up. (this was like 4th grade)

I dont think they are. I asked chatgpt "what differnces in the brain is there between left handed and right handed people?" and I guess there is somthing out there that associates left handed with migraines, along with other neurological effects. It seems stress hormones especially in late pregnancy can have a strong influence.

I mean I know theyre not made up. If you've never had a migraine and think they are just headaches you're comparing a sore muscle to a broken bone.

I'm left handed and I played soccer and I prefer to kick things with my left foot. I also noticed that my penis curves slightly to the left which is surprising because I masturbate with my left hand. I would think that if I had caused my penile curve from masturbating, that it should curve right. Has anyone else encountered this phenomenon?

Left handed people are thought to be possessed by a right handed entity. The entity uses your right hand and you use your left.
