Kind of a strange question because if you ask someone what a hallucination is, they'll say "something that is NOT REAL". Experiencing or seeing something not real.

Not really if you remove your emotionality from what you are observing, most of it didn't require any active participation like creation or interpretation. Humans aren't really that creative. Imagining is an idea of how to be prepared. Ego is recognizing the importance of continuity for interacting with your environment etc.

Because hallucination just means seeing something that isn’t real. However; that’s generalizing that what most epistemologically process is not real and/or certain. The word “hallucinations” is already saying that what the brain is seeing or experiencing isn’t real already as it is.

Because if we don’t define our words and actually understand what we are saying, then we are not asking the most logical questions. Now that we have replaced it with projection and rather asking “is what our brain projecting real? Or can we be certain that our brain is projecting xyz things?” Then the discussion because more cohesive and interesting.
