>>40530741> absolving back into the void of God, to no longer be a separate consciousness, ego, or being. This is a poetic mystical way of expressing it, and definitely has been used by great mystics and spiritual teachers throughout history to speak of spiritual liberation, enlightenment, or unity with God, but I think the paradox is you can also view this as ABSOLUTE FULLNESS, as well as ABSOLUTE CRYSTALLIZATION OF A UNIQUE INDIVIDUALITY.
In other words, the paradox is that, from one angle, you can also take it as the eradication of the ego, a voidness, but I think focusing on this idea of “voidness” or “emptiness” too much, misinterpreted, can make people view the ultimate spiritual truth as nihilism or annihilationism. It is in a since a voiding or eradicating of (the ordinary concept of) ego, but also, again, is like being crystallized into an absolutely unique individual, who is a gateway to and manifestation of the Absolute. A particle of the universe becoming fully conscious of itself, and of its union with the universe it exists in. It is not just annihilation, but a new true and complete life, whole and fulfilled, true Eternal Life.
