I don't think the demiurge is not evil but I'm open to what you're saying. I also think it's highly debatable which God created reality and which God is here now. Also lesser gods vying for power including humanity itself. Even in humanity some look to ascend and sacrifice their humanity to become Godlike themselves.

If gnosticism is dualistic then gnosticism is just incorrect. Dualism is wrong. Other anon is correct to assume monism was implied as the philosophical meta has progressed beyond dualism. Saying "gnosticism is not monist" is exactly the same thing as saying, and what I hear is "gnosticism is wrong". If gnosticism cannot fit a monist interpretation of God, it is incompatible with Truth.
