Venus is probably better to look at it since it can be seeded easily with organisms that could quickly consume its atmosphere. Start with fungi, it will adapt to and consume almost anything. Theres a fungus for everything. So stagger it to eat and produce. Venus unlike mars is protected better from DNA mutations. Its actually a better model of earth than mars is in that earth once also was like venus, it was never like mars is now in its past.
