There was something different about it 15-20 years ago, where it made me feel happy and appreciative of beauty, that has been utterly lost. I don't know man, I could believe it has something to do with the precise balance of chemicals, but on the basis of THC, terpenes or overall strength alone, I think weed today is significantly weaker. Back around 2012 era I used to get god tier shit, straight up snowballs covered in crystals where you could shake a nug snd get insanely high off the powder alone. Now it's all 6-7/10 shit that would've passed as mids in the old days, both in dispensaries and off market. I think there's some credence to saying they might've literally genetically engineered the soul out of it, since now I get significantly less high while feeling increasingly anxious instead of happy, and I say that as a dude who was smoking 20+ bowls a day 10 years ago and now smokes one bowl a night.

Good post, and I agree. At the end of the day, we don't know if modern weed just has a fucked up balance of cannaboids or what, but I will add that GMO weed became prevelant about 10-12 years ago. The weird thing is, back then it was PG weed shit that was grown to be big and fluffy and covered in crystals, so you'd think that if they continued this craft we would be feeling anxious from smoking baseballs, but instead it's shit that looks, smokes and feels of an overtly lower quality than what we used to get, GM or otherwise. That's why I feel like modern weed has now been commercialized to the point of being grown to prioritize "yeah, it gets you high, end of story", rather than giving you positive vibes (which, back then, good and mid tier weed alike would provide). Thanks for the love. Just for the sake of ilustration I will share and experience I had while under the influence of LSD. To hilight how these types of chemicals can affect you and what you may think while you are under their influence. So I took LSD and that hit was strong. I was not expecting that one to be that strong, but it was. I was learning how to drive this day, but just doing theory inside a building, the teacher explaining the traffic laws and shit. While he was explaining stuff I was tripping balls, it got to a point where I had to get the fuck out here and get some freash air, but i was inside a building filled with cameras everywhere because it's a public facility. Man, that BIg Brother feeling got me hard. The paranoid did raise. Then it hit me. God was watching me. All mt moves. Everything that I think and feel. EVERYTHING. God was wathcing and recording. How the Hell would He know everything about me if He is not watching me and storing my information? He has to store the information somewhere, even if it is in His mind, He has to save that information. It's crazy. Anyway, I just want to hilight that those chemicals can make you question things to such a degree that you never did think was possible. A minor detail may trigger this deep state where you will start to question reality and God and life and all. I can understand why some people can't handle that. It's crazy. I feel like it takes some courage to ingest those chemicals, they are not for everyone. But weed is not like that. But weed has a little bit of that power. In my experience, the spiritual capacity in weed is defined by the altering of your perception. Basically it just helps you see things from a totally different perspective.
