From everything I understand about how physics work, if there is any way to hop into another reality, it would be an MRI machine. MRI machines are not simple magnetic field generators and detectors. No: MRI machines effect the Quantum Spin of all the Protons in your body.

So lets lay down exactly what is happening here. The MRI creates a magnetic field that forces all of the Protons in your body to be aligned (opposite) to the MRI's magnetic field. The MRI machine then detects the resistance each part of your body has to this new alignment. Some issues resist more to magnetic field alignments, and thus look different from the MRI's perspective.

Well that's all good and fun, but what the heck is Quantum Spin? Well, it turns out, Protons are not actually little spinning balls rotating around. No, Quantum Spin is actually a measure of a particle's connectedness with a field to every other point in existence. Spin 1 particles: Light, Gluons, W & Z bosons are connected with a mere spin 1, however other particles have a 1/2 spin. What does this mean? Well, to break things down very simply, 1/2 spin particles need to "spin twice" to return back to their original alignment to the a field connecting them to every point in the universe. If you were in an Electron's perspective, half of the time you would be in the Anti-Matter Universe, but lets not get sidetracked by the sea of Dirac Sea.

What this means is that all the Protons in your body are being aligned all at once to a new position relative to the universe. Whenever you enter into an MRI machine you might as well have been teleported to another reality, everything who enters into an MRI machine (myself included) has been aligned to a universe respective to the MRI machines. Your mind and consciousness stays the same as an Observer, but all the particles in your body are aligned to a new regime relative to that specific MRI machine.

Such alternate universes are likely nothing burgers, more boring than a universe where the title of a children's book is spelled with an "ai" instead of an "ei". These universes would differ by weak field fluctuations which only occur in nuclear conditions (nuclear reactors, nuclear bombs). And again, any universes too far from your own would be one's where you would have never entered into that MRI machine at that particular time.

For example: you are unlikely to pop into a universe where Hideki Yukawa died as a result of Hiroshima or Nagasaki, because without his universe you would of never stepped foot into the MRI.

Literally every single Proton in your body is re-aligned in minutes, this is nothing like your cells recycling over the course of years. Additionally, unlike your cells, the protons in your body are in a very real way connected with the electrical (and other) fields of the entire universe, what happens in the protons in your body effects what is going on in the Andromeda Galaxy and vice versa. Yes, cells are made of Protons too, but in a less casually direct way to the electric field in which they reside.

Think about it this way: a single fan cannot make a hurricane, however the air current of a single fan does effect the air currents of the planet and thus hurricanes. Turn on enough fans in the right orientation and you got yourself a hurricane. In contrast a tornado is very unlikely to effect the orbit of Mar's moons, the air currents are stuck on the planet Earth, and the best that Tornado gets is to effect Mar's moons is some hypothetical astronaut who goes to Mars.

The problem is that you've provided no explanation of how rearranging the protons in your body causes you to shift to an alternate dimension. Protons are physical particles, there's no reason to think you'll shift into an alternate dimension by reorganizing them any more than you will by replacing the cells in your body or messing with anything else.
