Is there a more evil book in the Bible than Proverbs?
I'm nearly finishing it and noticing how the logic of the verses become increasingly isolationist and steers (the flock specifically) away from discovering anything themselves. Not to mention it is full of demonstrable lies. Which if you think about it, is a trap. People probably died testing these fake laws because knowledge would give away their misbehavior.
Book of Proverbs, evil evil book. Hate it. Psalms was pretty good though, a lot of wisdom in Psalms.

I read nearly the same descriptions of the tabernacle over and over again because of how it was written. That was some of the most boring material I have ever subjected myself to. Personally I find it even more boring to read than the begats.
Much of the complaints about religious folk, from what I have seen and heard, stems directly from behaviors taught by the book of Proverbs. Evil book.

I think that because this is a long observed tribal behavior. If one tribe becomes too powerful, the surrounding tribes will come together to prune or destroy it.
