Dad died in hospital less than an ago from old age and cancer. How do check it he became a ghost? He was very attached to his home I'm currently living in

Didn't say how long ago he died. If it was recent he's definitely still around. If it was more than a few months ago he can visit and still check in on you but he's not a ghost ghost. Ghosts as in "im posted up in a house this is where I live" are people who are either in denial they are dead or have refused to cross over. They can also be bound to this plane through other peoples grief. Let's say a husband dies and the wife can't let go, he'll be unable to cross over until she does.

Now theres this kind of grace period the recently deceased have where they can wander around and check things out, how long they do is largely up to their curiosity as they always have the option to cross over.
