There’s a movie called Vivarium (2020) where a cuckoo bird like alien imitates humans and forces them to raise their young. Very reminiscent of reptilian conspiracy theories, they look and act human but aren’t. Just birds instead of reptiles. The aliens communicate through Turing patterns and glyphs. But specifically Turing patterns.

Dumb AF to be honest it's clearly compression artifacts. Notice how with every camera cut the issue vanishes (this is where keyframes are set) and then occasionally it comes back when the problematic scene appears again.
You may as well say that the weird artifacts caused by confetti or patterned clothes in videos are actually le alien transformation.

A lossless video is far too large to rationally stream over any medium, so compression algorithms are used. For videos they typically have 'key frames' and then ~30 following frames based on the key frame, using it as a reference. It basically merges things that it 'thinks' are the same together, but has major issues with intricate patterns, weird lighting, etc. That's why if you watch a video and there's tons of effects on screen, it becomes smeary and shit.

There are multiple different algorithms / codecs, probably hundreds in fact, that have phase in and out of popular use. I.e some old television codec is probably much different than something you'd see today on youtube. It's a bit of a stretch to go "um these weird artifacts are actually shape-shifting demon reptilians" when it can be easily explained by other means.
