>>40557590 (OP)If we're going by pure logic based on what Lucifer represents, I fail to see how any idea of worship aside from worship of the self would make any sense. If you worship Lucifer as a being, you're doing it wrong. The ultimate denial of God is conscious worship of the self. Keep in mind that the opposite of this--the denial of the self--isn't a total lack of worship, as such a thing is impossible. Something is always being worshiped, subconsciously or cognitively. Rather, the opposite is total worship of God to the point where everything you do, conscious or otherwise, is in unfailing lockstep with God. What this looks like in practice is exemplified in Jesus, at least some of the time. Of course, this is easier said than done, as the tug to worship the self over God is very compellingly driven by base instinct, and the feelings of joy associated with worshiping God are rather a result of the action of worship. To approach perfect worship of God requires a strong adherence to righteous thought and wisdom. That doesn't mean it will always be a difficult conscious effort, as learning and practice can lead to effortless subconscious behaviors, but it's still much more difficult than succumbing to base instinct. Which path you choose to follow is ultimately your choice to make, as God gave you that choice by allowing you the ability to deny him in the first place. The end result of your choice may lead to total destruction, but we were given that choice for a reason, and I firmly believe it's of utmost worth to ponder why we were given that choice.
Probably more than you asked for, but there you go.
