Name one prophecy that has foreseen anything, you cannot. Name kne holy book that has shown the truth, you cannot. You even turn to forgotten gods, you could instead turn to comics, which have stories relatable to the real world, not ancient egypt.

History is manufactured and distorted and humanity is crushed under the weight of its own hubris. There's things worth preserving but you clearly don't know what they are.

You representing a methodology as a monolithic concept is unscientific. Science is a methodology not an absolute authority. And I don't have problem with science as a methodlogy, no "beef" here. But I will pose a question to you OP, when you make empiricism the forefront of everything you do is that not a way to end up miserable? If I go on a walk and watch the Sun set should I do it because science told me to or because I enjoy it? There's nothing wrong with science as a method but just from observation it seems like most scientists are miserable because they need a reason to do the things they enjoy rather than being happy. Maybe that's your problem too OP because your tone of writing is reflective of someone miserable with their life. It's evident in your need to crush other people's worldview rather than letting things be as they are, those words could only come from someone not at peace with themselves, what's disturbing you OP?

You can't have an Enlightenment without a soul/consciousness. Truly, the worst part about strict atheists and theists is they adopt ideology which allows them to stop questioning. Arguing with a theist leads to a continuous, circular string of reasoning which loops back into the core tenets of their orthodoxy. Arguing with an atheist leads towards open-and-shut case examples to deny the soul's flourishing.

We still haven't even solved the hard problem of consciousness and we think we can say in definitives.

New discoveries lead towards a possibility cascade, the spirit of man needs to wander and wonder for these discoveries to take place. Destroy this sense of spirit, castrate the rate of discovery.
