Nonetheless, about the IMDB photos, I literally saw the photos appear in real time. A couple of anons and I were on IMDB, researching, and out of nowhere the photos popped up.
First it was just 1, then it turned to 3.
It seems to be a screencap of an existing video, but that video isn't anywhere on the surface web. Believe me, I've looked into old compilations of British Television, looked on every search engine, reserve searched for hours, etc. I legitimately tried.

So my guess is, the images are AI or someone is sitting on more RJ footage and isn't sharing.

This is purely anecdotal, but really weirded me out.

My cousin's British mother-in-law is very knowledgeable about older UK comedy because her family ran a stand-up pub in the 80's and she just likes comedy. I'm a fan of newer British comedy (I'm not British, just watched loads of stuff on Youtube), but not familiar with anything from before the year 2000. Because of this strange connection I've spoken to her a few times about stand-up even though we're so tenuously related.

I asked her if she knew Bob Monkhouse, and she was offended I even asked since not only had she watched "the bob monkhouse show" when it aired but had watched him in a lot of other things he did, including seeing him do stand-up live some time in the 70's. It's like I asked her if she knew Elvis. I asked what she remembered about the show and she could even remember guests who had been on it, including her first time ever seeing Jim Carrey. I was "fishing" for her to mention Roy Jay without ever bringing him up, but had no luck. I'm not a Roy Jay freak and ultimately I don't care, but because she remembered so much I had to.

I showed her Roy Jay's Monkhouse show appearance video. Almost immediately she asked "is this AI?". That really spooked me, so I asked why? She didn't remember the episode at all and didn't know who Roy Jay was, which was odd since she knew even way smaller totally forgotten comics of the time. For someone to get on the (seemingly way more popular than I realized) Monkhouse show, they would have been on her radar. Also, according to her, something was visually off about Bob Monkhouse's face at the beginning of the clip.

A 70 year old woman not remembering what she saw on tv 40 years ago might not be surprising, but the instant "is this AI?" did give me the heebie jeebies. I did try to ask more questions, but there wasn't really anything to go after since she had never seen or heard of Roy Jay and I was beginning to look very strange for asking these questions.
