Europe is a sanitized, harmless playground compared to literally anywhere else in the world. The worst you can claim is some periods of civil unrest where mercenaries pillaged the countryside. You realize that this is the permanent state of affairs for large parts off the world, right? The long periods of peace Europe has had between conflicts are historically unknown is most of the rest of the world. Do we need to take a quick trip around the globe?
>North America:
Literal constant warfare that featured none of the concepts of chivalry or morality you might have found in Europe. If you survived a battle or a raid by another tribe, if you lived on the East coast you could look forward to being tortured to death over the course of many days, or if you lived on the West coast, you are a chattel slave until you are worked to death.
>South America:
Do I really need to elaborate? Death cults as religion, human sacrifices and cannibalism, and again of course constant warfare and slavery.
>Africa:
One of the places where the state of unrest found in the Thirty Years' War is how things have been since the dawn of time. There are currently around 40 internal wars in Africa, right now. There has never been a period in recorded history when there weren't multiple wars taking place within Africa. Rape, mutilation, torture, genocide - things that would be historical atrocities in Europe are daily occurrences here.

You could read the Bible alone for a quick guide to the amount of blood that's soaked this land.
>Asia
Cambodia alone shits all over anything Europe has to offer in regards to "cruelty and evil". China is infamous for, among other things, multi-year sieges where soldiers ate civilians to survive. The kind of shit the nobility of ancient China did to their own families alone is cruel beyond anything Europe could imagine.
