Do you think we should avoid eating meat, then? Because there are still animals killed to produce plant based food. To name a few: tiny animals living on ground which get crushed by tractors and combine harvesters, bugs poisoned with pesticides to prevent crop yields from lowering too much, and larger animals shot with guns to protect the crops from their hungry mouths for human consumption. Is that kind of killing necessarily worse than killing livestock or wild game for food? I knew an ex-vegan who switched to hunting all their own meat. From my point of view, factory farming is the greater evil. At least a hunted animal got to live out its life in the wild. Death and suffering are just facts of life in this hell dimension we live in though. EVERY living thing in this world is brought here to suffer, one way or another.
