Stitch is [the occult] Disney's portrayal of Lucifer. He's his creator's most perfect creation but has a tendency to destroy. He's exiled from heaven, when he falls to earth Lilo calls it a shooting star. She represents the mortal possessed by him who tries to reel in his destructive nature. The music is also carefully chosen. The opening song is a hymn praising Hawaii's version of Lucifer (it literally calls out to a "bright white" star that "illuminates" men.) Wynona Judd covered "Burning Love" which describes a light that burns the sky (a star) which lifts people higher. In this scene they play 'Devil in Disguise' while Lilo tries to train Stitch how to blend into society.
