>>40617603 (OP)When considering the pros and cons of a given conspiracy theory, it's important to ask yourself a few important questions:
What would be gained from this conspiracy?
Who would stand to gain?
What is the scale of this conspiracy? How many people would need to be involved and how much effort would be required to maintain it?
Just taking that last question, this would be a massive, global conspiracy. All of the staff at every zoo across the globe would need to be in on it, all of the people involved in manufacturing the suits, all of the people involved in creating the fake videos and articles and studies of these manufactured animals.
So for this to exist, there would need to exist a global syndicate with full ownership and control of zoos in America, in Europe, in Russia, in China. They would need to have an absurd amount of money to maintain and propagate this false narrative, there would need to be thousands of people whose full time jobs are wearing ape suits and wandering around in zoo enclosures.
Having established the scale, we can go back to the first two questions: what would be the point of all this, and for whose benefit?
