sorry, the numbers don't add up. the 2000 year exile began in 70 AD with the destruction of the 2nd temple, meaning it won't end until 2070. that is within our lifetimes, but israel was founded in 1948, meaning, according to you, the exile actually should have began in 52 BC

No one today knows exactly what year we're in prophetically speaking. NT jews used a completely different calendar, and time records perished with the temple, but what we do know is this:

“After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.” (Hosea 6:2)

If you make the time of "Israel dying" the time they rejected Jesus (as opposed to the day the temple was destroyed), it could mean it's even closer, but that's not gospel.

In any event, compared to 2000 years, 70 sounds pretty close.
