Drugs that fuck with your serotonin and dopamine are extremely dangerous and demonic. It took me a few times to breakthrough, here's my experience. As a note I closed my eyes, there is some debate over this. To start with I got rich green and red colours like wearing those old 3D glasses. Mandalas, like petal flowers, started to appear, many of them rotating in front of me. This went on for a few minutes and got more intense and faster. Then I was sucked through one of these mandalas into a tunnel and through to a large cavern like opening that seemed several miles long. In the background, far away, I saw the DMT entites, sometimes called machine elves. They were jagged shaped with no smooth edges, and they moved very oddly. They were building something like a massive pyramid. The colours were mostly very dark green and red. Then out of nowhere a DMT entity appear right in front of my face, close up, all I could see was the side of its head and an eye looking at me. It was quite scary. In my head I heard a voice telling me I shouldn't be here and to leave. Then I saw more entities heading towards me from the pyramid. I got freaked out and then my trip ended. Would recommend.

personally i just floated around interesting spaces and perceived large entities floating like whales. at one point it felt like a panoply of jeering colorful elves were viciously mocking me, but at the same time i thought "yeah, i've definitely fucked up a lot in life, i could use the criticism, thanks mates" and the energy instantly changed to relaxing and welcoming.

Exactly. I'm fairly certain the control center is essentially the place where they create the shadows, as in the visual experiences we have on these substances. And by them I mean lots of different sects of spirits. For whatever reason they allow some people see it. Instead of just messing with them through the symbols which are born from the fire, the computer, the control center, whatever you want to call it. Our reality is a projection too. The mushroom kept telling I had potential in my soul to be a wizard and showed me the center too.
Secondly I don't think they are "jesters" fundamentally speaking, what some, not most people see are spirits wearing armor of jesters. This is because the noosphere is incredibly dark with lots of parasitic entities feeding on us. Wearing the role gives them the jester privilege and a way to defend against any mental idea by turning it into a joke. Nothing affects them as everything is nothing during the role.
As for your questions I recommend you look into Platonism. Esoterically that is, not exoterically as you've been taught. And do not obsess over what you were shown. Do not fall into the rabbit hole of constantly visiting them through these drugs and getting answers. You have experienced what can be the most important thing in your material life, begin to act right, begin to act well, to suffer is no reason to become bad. And sadly you can not tell people about it, as they will not hear or listen or experience it. I've tried.
