There's certain ways of explaining these topics where you learn really fast but it's too stressful. Buddhism and Gnosticism are very similar. Gnosticism describes a similar world, but with a much more urgent need to free yourself, so that's more popular on this board.
As always, half the work is investigating what is the supernatural cause of the phenomenon, and the other half of the work is simplifying it into something like "it's a synchronicity from the universe" that you can say to any normie without sounding crazy to explain what you're thinking about.
