>>40669548I don't watch volcanoes as closely as I do quakes, but I DO keep an eye on the ones in the PNW of living right on major fault lines. Rainier and Mt. St Helens have been more active recently.
That volcano string right up in Alaska has had a lot more seismic activity this year as well following a 7.something last year.
I do keep an eye on Philippines as well, because of family there, and I'm a bit nervous for them. Part of the family is in the northern end, the other in the southern.
If either of these come to fruition, I suppose I wouldn't be terribly surprised.
It's not uncommon to see quakes bombard and trigger a chain around the Ring of fire. I frequently see a pattern like South America > Cali/Alaska > Japan/Taiwain > Philippines > Indonesia within a 15 minute span.
