>>40679628 (OP)A lot of the tattoo ink (all of them desu) contain poisonous metals. A lot of these chemicals are produced in israel desu, you can look up the biggest exporter of tattoo ink- this is mostly because they have the labs to produce this, and also there is big money in producing the 'safe' inks. But they are all cancerous to some degree. Imagine smoking, but perpetually in the skin.
The skin is the largest organ of the human body, and while we are still on /x/, the skin is our biggest attenae (sensing) second to vision and sight. Usually people who are high in anxiety/ experienced trauma get tattoos, in a subsconsious effort to 'kill' the sensing part of that area/ the sensing part.
The romantic in me appreciates the symbolism and the meaningfulness in some of them (for eg suicide survivor placing tattoo on scars, or where wounds used to be)
personally did too much research on tattoos and the complexes in health it arises so getting a tattoo now would ironically cause me a huge amount of undue stress.
For those lurking, who have tattoos, try to cleanse your body and take good care of it via health, nutrition, meditation. There is no need for guilt, shame or anger. Just take good care of yourself.
