You may not realize it, but this idea in combination with the rejection of enlightenment is the ideology of transhumanism.

The human being including the human body was specially created by God to be able to commune with God. It is not just "a carcass." It was made in the image of God by God. The human body contains Devine properties that can be activated.

Transhumanists want you to believe that you can improve the flawed "carcass" by adding human technology to it. In reality, anything like that (i.e. musk's brain chip etc.) is an ENORMOUS step down from what God already provided you with.

There are a lot of Italian word with some funny-sounding suffixes that serve to make them sound a bit sillier, like "papocchio" or "pastrocchio" that mean something messy but in a silly/cute way most of the time.
It's like when Yiddish do that schm- at the beginning of a word.

There are also word where occhio (eye) is used in the word itself like "malocchio", but it's a compound word of mal (evil) and eye (i.e. staring at someone with the intention of transmitting them bad luck through your own gaze, oh and there are also old ladies that get paid to remove an eventual malocchio that someone may have cast on you)

I thought the sea in general. I only have surface knowledge of mythology and I don't know how much of it is made up so I don't even want to read much. To my understanding Ishtar is based on Aphrodite (Yes I know the tale predates her) but it changed so much via storytelling that she doesn't really consider it her. Aphrodite is the closest we have.
