My faith in Jesus Christ is the sole reason I didn't kill myself as a teen or preteen and why I lived to the age of 21. My father is an antisocial alcoholic and my mother is schizophrenic and they constantly fight but God and my frens gave me comfort during my childhood. That said I still don't feel anything for them and don't care if they die and burn in hell.

I'm sorry your parent situation. My mom's an awful, manipulative pill head but my dad has helped me a lot.

Still struggling daily with depression but faith in Christ helps. Anyway, it's normal to feel that way about abusive parents. I still don't like talking to my mom.

I pray for her and I forgive her, but I mostly ignore her texts because it's just her lying to get money. But mostly she just makes me feel numb.
