Yes, those are the different aspects of your psyche
As Jung would say, your shadow, anima, Animus etc. but the Greeks called them diamons.
You're supposed to learn how to recognize them and have dialogs with them and become a whole, complete person, but people who don't will have to face their faults in "hell" (maybe this is hell, idk).
It's easier to notice these aspects when you're alone for long periods of time but some people just go crazy.

i actually recall this and know exactly what they are talking about, most people do have friends there, i dont, i didnt get along with anyone even there and i already know its just going to be a big argument again when / if i go back :(

pain and suffering is baked into this whole experience
we only thrive by devouring other creatures, for instance.
this is hell. realize that it's hell. but not the hell the christians preach about. when we return home (afterlife) there will be nothing but bliss and ecstacy, before going back to another kind of hell in order to grow as souls or something like that. that's what i've gathered from the NDEs

The main point of divergence is that biblical translators translate aionion as "eternal" when it could also mean "an indefinitely long period of time". It's where we get our word aion from which means the same thing.

In fact, Jesus is the "skip the line and get into heaven free because i did the work for you" card, but people end up worshiping their institution instead of God and turning into the "pharisee".

that's what it is like on the other side beyond the veil, your soul is eternal and will keep on living here so in that sense life after death is what we already have.
